Every time we have driven between here and Idaho we have wondered about this freaky looking house thing in Imlay, NV. You can see it right from the freeway and it has always been a mystery to us. Well this time we decided to stop and see what the story was behind it. Like all mysteries it is not so mysterious once you know the background but it still gave me the creeps. Apparently it was built by a native american man who thought that white people were wasteful and decided to build his home from the white mans waste to prove a point of some kind. It is now completely condemned for safety reasons but people can walk around and view the outside and there are pictures displayed of what the inside looks like. Notice the baby in the tree in the lower right picture, that was my favorite.

Echo doesn't look like she was enjoying herself too much! That is freaky!
That is crazy! That guy is crazy! And your crazy for stopping!! Just kidding!
I saw your pics of McCall. I was so sad we couldn't see you, bad timing! Love your cute family.
That is really cool!!! What a idea. To think the whole house is made of crap people threw away...
Now that I look at it more I dont see why it was condemned?? I have been in many houses (to visit my clients) that look a lot worse then that one!!
you shouldn't put stuff like that on your blog.
that is freaky! gives me the creeps!
