Catching Up

Right after Thanksgiving Elsie took these pictures of the kids in their Christmas outfits. A lot of you have probably already seen these because we sent them out as Christmas cards. If you haven't, make sure to send me your address for next year!

We had a great Christmas, the first time we had it in our own home. Porter got this awesome train set, I heard it took Mr. and Mrs. Clause until the middle of the night to get it put together.

Porter got a bag of Doritos (a favorite) in his stocking and didn't want anything else after that. I think he ate half the bag that morning.

After Christmas we headed to Cedar City to celebrate my Mom's 60th birthday. She was pretty surprised because her birthday wasn't for another couple of weeks. We went out for mexican food and then went back to Elise and Kevin's house for the party. It was also new years eve. My Dad even stayed up til midnight, which he hadn't done in years.

One of the days we were there Grandma and Grandpa had a kids day. The kids got to pick the meals, go sledding, and go to a movie. It was really fun, the kids felt pretty special.

One morning we went shooting, this was the first time I have ever gone. My mom was nice enough to watch the kids and I joined Beau, my Dad, Jared, and Erica.

I wasn't too bad a shot, for my first time. As long as I had this table to lean on. :)
