This weekend we headed to Weiser to visit Grandma and Grandpa. Friday night was "Cabin Fever Night" where a bunch of different organizations put on games, entertainment, and food to raise money. We got to see Grandma's cloggers dance and eat some of their famous ice cream potatoes! It was crazy how packed out the place was, Echo thought it was a blast. Porter was very happy to stay home with Grandpa. Here are some pics of the face paint and Little Mermaid tattoo Echo got that night.
Porter would run up and scare these sheep every time they would come to get a drink of water. He thought he was pretty funny. After a while I think they realized that Porter wasn't very threatening.
The best part was going in to see the bummers. We couldn't get too close to the ones with their Mama's but Echo, Porter, and Grandma got right in the bummer pen. As you can see Echo took right to it, but at first Porter just wanted to climb out.
Echo was so sweet with the baby sheep. She really loved them.
They really loved Echo too!
Echo would let them suck her fingers, they really liked that.
These next three pictures all happened right in a row and were so funny. Porter went over by Echo and got cornered by a sheep.
Then Echo ditched him and two sheep had him cornered.
Then a whole bunch of sheep came and he thought it was so funny.
The funny thing with Porter was that the sheep made him nervous but he had no fear of the chickens. In this picture he turned around and said "Chickens!"
We had to take him out of the pen because he wanted to run over to them and we were afraid he would cause a panic.
He spent the next while trying to figure out a way to get back in the chicken pen. He tried to find things on the ground that he could use as a key to get in.
Guess what else we saw that morning, a Zebra! I have no idea why but someone in Weiser has a pet Zebra.
Echo and the Zebra
On our drive home our car got attacked by five or six huge turkeys! It was so funny. They all came running straight at the car side by side and wouldn't move from the front so we were stuck. Beau kept trying to inch forward and honk the horn but they still wouldn't move. Then Mary Ann was able to coax them over to the side of the car and we took off driving. But those stupid Turkeys were chasing us as fast as they could alongside the car. We were all laughing so hard, I am so glad we didn't run over one.

If Porter isn't scared of turkeys, then I consider him incredibly brave. Those things freak me out.
What a great farm day! The little lambs are so cute. Soft animals and sweet kids, what could be better?
Wow.. a zebra. haha that is so random. Those pictures were so funny, I wish I could have been there! I like the one of Porter trying to climb out while Echo looks like Snow White holding the little lambies. awwww
Oh good ole' Weiser and cabin fever night! That and High school sports are the high-light of the year.
