This day has been many years coming! A few weeks ago Me, Beau, Echo, and my Mom and Dad traveled back to the bay area to attend Beau's Graduation from Samuel Merritt where he received his masters degree as a Physician Assistant . Luckily for us the Blickenstaffs were kind enough to let Porter stay with them so we could spare him of the many hours of driving and people filled events (which he very much hates). But for those of us who were there, it was a really exciting day. A special thanks also to Cory and Kristen who gave us a place to stay and got reservations and babysitting arranged for an awesome graduation dinner at Frascati in San Francisco.
Echo, Grandma, and Grandpa - waiting for the ceremonies to begin.
The presentation and hooding of candidates.
Beau and some of his classmates, after receiving their degrees.
The Three Amigos - Beau, Candace, and Sean
Echo was so proud of her Dad.
Congratulations Beau on this great accomplishment! We are so proud of you and all your hard work and dedication. There were definitely hard times and sacrifices in getting here, but in the end it was all worth it. We love you and are so happy to be together as a family again!

Congrats, Beau. You look so good in that cap and gown maybe you should consider wearing it to work everyday ;)
Congrats Beau...and Ems!! Afterall, it is a sacrifice on both parts to complete! :) That's so exciting that you guys are moving on to starting a "real" job and having all your schooling pay off by doing what you really want to do.
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!Congrats to both of you! We are so excited for you guys. I almost cried reading it just because you guys are my heroes for enduring school straight through. I don't know how you did it. Good job and maybe we'll see you in Boise:)
Congratulations Beau! Welcome to the ranks. I have to say it is a great profession!
