Better late than never, right? We had a really fun Easter, the kids were so excited!
I really need to invest in a few more Easter decorations, this basket was pretty much it.
That morning the kids found trails of candy that the Easter Bunny left behind.
Here are some of the Easter eggs we dyed with our friends.
Piper was pretty quick to gather up armfuls of candy.
Then the kids all searched for their hidden Easter baskets. It took Echo a little while, hers was extra hard to find this year.
Porter's Lightning McQueen Easter basket.
Piper was a little confused at first. She was a lot more excited about the candy than the toys.
Echo was more than happy to help Piper with her basket.
Porter was so excited to find a couple of new cars in his basket. I can't tell you how many times since this moment that the whole family has gone on hunts for the "gold" Lightning McQueen. I am beginning to wonder if he loses it on purpose.
After some breakfast and cleaning up we had our Easter egg hunt in the backyard.
We had to limit Echo to how many eggs she could find so Porter and Piper would have a chance.
These two did not stop running for a second. They were running around so excited that they would forget to even grab eggs.
We sent Echo on a hunt for the extra hard to find "golden egg".
She finally found the golden egg!
There was a gold dollar inside!
We hope all your Easters were just as fun and warm as ours was!

Looks like fun. I think Porter and Urban have the same Lightening Mcqueen beach towel.
