The beginning of the Kalalau trail hike, 2 miles along the coast, then 2 miles in to a waterfall. (8 miles roundtrip). This hike was so amazing! As Aaron would say, "This is the best hike in Hawaii, Hawaii is the best state in the U.S., and the U.S. is the best country in the world- so this MUST be the best hike in the world!"
Beautiful view of the Napali coast
The beach at 2 miles in
Hanakapiai Falls
You walk through this cool bamboo grove along the way, Aaron and Lindsey are laughing because some bamboo fell and almost hit Beau on the head.
Major highlight of the trip- seeing Kauai by an open door helicopter!
This is the falls from the beginning of Jarassic Park, only visible by helicopter.
There were waterfalls everywhere!
I think the Napali coast is so beautiful!
Another one of my favorite shots from the trip.
Look closely and you can see a little arch in the rocks.
The water is so clear! You can see everything.
Hanalei from above.
In the crater below the mountain that is the wettest spot on earth.
One of my favorite moments. We were boogie boarding at sunset and there was a bunch of sea turtles in the water with us. So cool!!

a gecko!
Kipu falls, another favorite picture.

I am amazed! Those pictures are AWESOME!!!...not to mention you already have them up on your blog! I feel like asking copy right permission and coping it to mine:)
Okay, okay...I'll schedule a dang helicopter ride.

Brady and Karen, they told us that they usually don't get as good of days as we did in the winter, I would wait til summer when a clear day is more of a sure bet and you can go into the crater.
Kipu Falls! Did your legs feel shaky on the slippery metal ladder, or are you immune to that? Kalulau Trail! We didn't swim under the falls because you know that sign that says: "Don't swim here because rocks fall and kill people!" Well, everyone ignores signs like that, but right as Spencer is about to jump in the water a boulder the size of a basketball bounced down the cliff and landed in the pool! Isn't that wild? I'm so jealous of your trip. Kauai is heaven!
