This was our last room in the house to paint, we put it off for about a year because we were so burned out on painting when we first moved in. This before pic is actually after Beau had already painted the ceilings white, the ceilings were the same color as the walls.
Here is an after shot, we painted the walls a deep orangey-red color then faux painted a gray color over the top.
I also painted our dresser and bookshelf black to match, they were both a light wood color before.
This took us weeks, we had to work on it a few hours at a time. I am so glad it is finally done. Eventually we will get our new bedding, it has grays and reds and should tie everything together.

I love your bedroom. After seeing it I'm thinking of painting my whold bedroom red instead of just one wall.

Our ceilings are the same color as the walls here too, but I don't think we can paint them, it would be such a task. I love the color on your walls, it's really great. Don't you love changing furniture with paint. I just posted about that today, and I need your input so come comment.
