Last weekend Beau took Echo and Porter over to the splash pad at the park. The kids had so much fun, Porter never stops going the whole time he is there. This week Grandma Edwards took them to the park just about every day in the afternoons and let me and Piper stay home and take a nap, it was sooo nice!
Did you notice Porter got his hair buzzed for the summer? It took Beau, my mom, and Elise to hold him down to get it done.
Echo got pretty brave, by the end of the week she would stand under the big buckets of water and let them dump right on top of her.
At first Porter was having some issues with wanting to drink the water. Beau was going to get a picture of the sign that specifically says "Do not drink the recirculating water."
Afterwards Beau took the kids to get some Krispy Kremes. Yum!
When Todd came over he brought his remote control racer. The kids couldn't get enough of it! Porter thought it was so cool, but he was also a little scared of it.
He would cautiously get close to it when it wasn't moving.
But if it came his way when it was going fast...
he would hurry and run to the safety of Grandma's arms.
Grandma Edwards had to go home yesterday. Now we get to see how I can handle all three kids on my own. The kids are going to really miss all the fun they had this week with her and I am sure going to miss all the help around the house and my daily naps. Thanks again for all your help getting us on our feet Grandma! We are going to miss you!
